Mystery Jets

So in a previous post I prop’d a collection of glitchy electronica,breaks, IDM and D&B – time now for something a lot softer. Way back in the day, one of my best friends at school was a guy name Kai Fish. We’ve gone our separate ways, but it warms my heart to see him hitting success with his band, The Mystery Jets. They’ve already played huge festivals and built a massive following, and with Stereogum announcing that they’re eagerly awaiting the new album, well… 2008 could be even bigger. I really encourage you to have a listen to their latest song, Flakes – a loving nod to Jeff Buckley’s amazing, if brief, contribution to music.
